Massive bumblebee painting in England on World Bee Day

Artists in the small town of Hebden Bridge in England have created a massive bumblebee painting on World Bee Day on Friday. They want to raise awareness about the vanishing animals.

The huge bumblebee was painted on the playing field of Hebden Royd Primary School. The artists used paint that’s usually used to draw the lines for football pitches. The painting is a creation of Jamie Wardley and Dave Martin, whose daughter attends the school.

Rising temperatures, heavy pesticide use and habitat loss have caused drastic declines in bees across Europe and North America.
