Pigeon stuck on electricity cable rescued with drone in Peru (VIDEO)

Police used a drone, tape and a knife to rescue a pigeon trapped in a high voltage cable in Lima, the capital of Peru.

Video footage showed officers sticking the knife to the drone using tape, then flying the drone up to cut a string that had trapped the bird to the high voltage cable. After falling down, police and locals recovered the bird.

Locals said that the pigeon was stuck on the electric wire for more than 12 hours. The bird was brought to a local shelter for abandoned animals.
