Bears still suffer in Vietnam despite bear bile ban (INTERVIEW)

Asiatic black bears are still being used for bile extraction in Vietnam, despite the ban on sale and possession of bear bile. The Animal Reader talked Barbara Van Genne, head of Wild Animal Rescue & Advocacy at Four Paws, about the bears who still live in captivity under horrible circumstances in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
