The famous primatologist Jane Goodall and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute will be the keynote speaker at the 12th biennial Asia for Animals (AfA) Coalition conference.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be a virtual conference hosted by Blue Cross India and the Federation Of Indian Animal Protection Organizations on April 24 and April 25.

At the conference with the theme “For A Better Tomorrow, Together”, animal welfare organisations will share information, strategies and knowledge to improve the lives of Asia’s animals.

The AfA Coalition consists of AnimalsAsia, Four Paws International, Humane Society International, Born Free, Animal People Forum and 17 other well-known animal welfare and rights organizations. Their work is further supported by a network of hundreds of animal welfare organisations.

According to AfA, the conference is the largest gathering of animal welfare organizations in Asia, all focused on improving the welfare and rights of animals in Asia.
