Vegan junk food, ethical aftershave, organic local tempeh, dried jackfruit, popped lotus seeds, cacao-consciousness and skincare made with only 5 ingredients. These seven business ideas will be pitched this Saturday at the Plant Based Business Bootcamp in London.
The Pitch+Plant event is organised by Vevolution, a movement to inspire a plant-powered generation of people creating positive change in the world.
Co-founder Damien Clarkson from Vevolution said they were overwhelmed by the quality of applications this year: “There is an abundance of entrepreneurs creating exciting plant-based businesses that represent a brighter way of living on the planet. We look forward to investing in the winners of Pitch+Plant and helping them on their entrepreneurial journey.”
These seven finalists will be pitching for seed investment in their startups.

Nice to see some startups focusing on taking plastics out of food, it’s the most disgusting thing
Great startups! I vote for KINGS aftershave. Nice initiative to create a better world not only with food but also with other aspects of life, such as personal care.
Tough one!
I really like the idea of good sloppy vegan street food that can rival with traditional hotdogs and hamburgers. And thus give even meat eaters more options.
But I think it’s easier to control what you eat than control all the shitty chemicals that go into some beauty/skin products, so 5 dot Botanics using just 5 ingredients wins it for me.
Nice stuff, I like all of them !
Love the products and the article.
Kings after shave could be such a game changer!
